RENTAL POLICY

  1. All drivers must be 21 years of age and older with a valid driver's license. If anyone under the age of 21 is caught driving the golf cart, the cart will be confiscated immediately, and no refund will be granted for the rental.

  2. Renters are to drive on the left-hand side of the road, and required to follow all other traffic laws.

  3. There is to be no traffic in the main settlement area. Golf Carts are allowed on the south end of the island, from the clinic/playground area going south. If you would like to explore through town, please park the golf cart in the parking lot or at Sunshine Park. Driving is not encouraged throughout the settlement, as per the Hope Town District Council.

  4. Low Cay Cart Rentals does not deliver carts to the North End, as it is located beyond the gate at the front of the main settlement. For North End rentals, cart(s) will be delivered to the Post Office Dock for renters.

  5. Low Cay Cart Rentals does not provide gate keys for the gate located at the front of the main settlement. Please specify where you will be staying upon rental inquiry. In reference to obtaining a gate key, renters will have to contact the Hope Town District Council.

  6. Renters are not to exceed the limit of persons each cart is meant to carry. If you are caught with more than 4 people per cart, carts may be confiscated due to overloading passengers.

  7. Renters are responsible for any damage done to the cart, as well as any other persons or property, during the duration of the rental.

  8. Each golf cart is rented with a full tank of gas; Low Cay Cart Rentals does not provide any further fuel during the duration of any rental. Sea Spray Marina is the on-island location to purchase gas. Renters are required to return the cart(s) with a full tank of gas, same as when the cart(s) were delivered to you. Low Cay Cart Rentals does have a $50 gas fee for those who fail the replenish the gas tank(s) upon return of the cart(s).

  9. Standard return time for the carts on the end date of the rental is 9:30am. Renters are to have the cart(s) ready for pick-up at this time.

CANCELLATION POLICY

  • Cancellation Fee is $60 per cart if request is received 7 days or more prior to rentals commencement date.

  • No refund will be issued if cancellation is made less than 7 days prior to rental commencement.

  • If your arrival time is delayed, please contact us. Your reservation will be held ONLY until 9am the morning after your rental was to begin.
